The Greater Toronto Spiritual Life Convention is convened annually in
are particularly concerned about the spiritual condition and direction of the church. January and is spearheaded and organized by evangelical pastors and leaders who are particularly concerned about the spiritual condition and direction of the church.
The The purpose of the convention is to call Christians, from different denominations and traditions, in a spirit of oneness and camaraderie, to a more serious spiritual walk and commitment to the Lord of the Church. The design of the convention is not to duplicate the ministries of local churches, but rather to serve as a unifying rallying point for all believers – emphasizing our common spiritual concern and aim– in order to encourage and exhort Christians to cultivate and pursue holiness and a deeper fellowship
with the living triune God. The main message of the convention consists of seeking and finding God in all His glory, knowing vital communion with the indwelling resurrected Christ, enjoying the power and liberty of the Spirit’s fullness, and experiencing
victorious, fruitful Christian living.
The Church of Jesus Christ today needs a vibrant, dynamic witness and action, which will counter and reverse the spiritual malaise, complacency, and indifference which pervade much of contemporary Western Christendom. The convention shall endeavour to sound the clarion call for spiritual awakening, revival, and renewal; and thus facilitate the spiritual growth and maturity of believers,
as well as promote the earnest and passionate evangelism of the lost.
